I too have fancied a KD550 many times. Last time I did some serious looking they were fetching around £60 - £80, so a price tag of £265 will only generate a huge wave of apathy at that price :scratch:
I had a Rotel RA310 as my very first hi-fi amp so I get a bit nostalgic when I see one for sale - only at around the fiver mark mind you :lol:
It didn't have a lot of power, it didn't seem too light on it's feet in the sound stakes, the speaker terminals were abysmal but wait for this . . . . . little tiny lamps that showed which source was selected. True, I jest not folks, it was a revelation way back in the early 70's :eyebrows:
The Rotel '100' is my favorite Rotel amp, but the last models i'll entertain are:
'RA310', 'RA610' Amps..'RX200', 'RX400' Recievers & 'RT320' AM/FM Tuner
My 'RA310' cost me £8.00 & the 'RA610' £16.00
