28C outside last hour.
27.5C indoors downstairs according to the digital thermostat. Hot air rises so it will be a little hotter upstairs.
Forgot to get mustard so had to go out again. Fabulous out there, just a slight constant breeze going which keeps it fresh.
Stepping back inside is like going into a fridge.
Yeah we've got 27.2C in our living room. I imagine it will be even hotter upstairs, as this is a bungalow and that is the attic :) Just enjoyed a nice cold glass of Sauvignon Blanc on our bistro set, as if we weren't already posh enough.

This stuff. Don't know what year it is, probably last Tuesday.
It hit a maximum of 24 degrees C inside today. The advantage of shutters. Although not entirely closed, they block out a lot of heat.
Quite lovely walking back in.
The house will be aired overnight (automatically) by the velux windows, as long as the outside temperature is not above 22 degrees C.
Shutters seem to be a French thing - most of the houses in Calais appear to have them, yet you see none in Dover, which os only 20-odd miles across the water.
17C at the moment. Expected to reach 32C this afternoon; same as yesterday.
At 07:00 it was 18C outside.
It is now 23C with a forecast of 34C again.
It is currently 21C inside, as I have cooled the house overnight.
15c so far a bit of cloud about
Living room is 22C right now so should get warmer as we go on.
