Good to hear from you. Nice one, mate. I thought that might be the case, as the Techniboots would've been damping some resonances, present in the signal path, which now don't exist with the ETP in situ. Therefore, there's no point in damping what isn't there! ;)

I like your new 'toys', too. I should imagine that it all sounds rather wonderful? :)

All is the same now, apart from having a Mike New ETP platter (and Nagaoka glass mat), instead of the Funk MKI platter, shown. I also no longer use the Michell clamp, but a 'YNWaN special' instead. Oh yes, the SPU is different, too! :)

Been there, done that, but not on a Techy. Sometimes though, you just hit upon a 'perfect' combination [the best of both worlds], and that's what I'm getting with the Nagaoka/ETP :)

Lol, well yes. The main parts (T/T and tonearm) are the same :)

In terms of the pic, those are the benefits of using good lighting and a tripod!
