Think Metallica/Black Sabbath but more up to date, been around since 1993, they slipped past me, every album has either been put forward for an award or won one. There soaring guitar solos with sweeping ethereal musical compositions, the drumming and bass is something else, with driving rhythms, will certainly put your speakers through their paces.
This album was put forward for a Grammy. I started with ‘Lateralus’ their 3rd album, it is great, Fear Inoculum is a stunner IMO, possibly one the best rock albums for years.
Worth getting on HDCD if your gear can play HDCD.
