A bit of retail therapy, my nephew recommended this to me, as I like 'A Perfect Circle' and Tool was formed by the singer it was quite likely I would like them.
Quite a stunning album, what I would call Hard Prog, approaching Heavy Metal at times, but musically extremely good and accomplished and really great album IMO, one that will get regular air-play.
By the way the original on black Vinyl can be rather pricey, this is version I took a chance on as it is a picture disk, it is actually pretty good from the SQ point of view, however there have been some comments on Discogs the some pressings have been noisy. I would say that my copy has a little surface noise in lead and in very quiet passages, but then I was pumping the volume at 85dB peak, so not at all bad really.
