Btw, I mentioned earlier about 'recharging' my K&N air filters, with a suitable 'recharging kit'. This is the process I was referring to:

Basically, to maintain optimum performance, these filters need to be cleaned properly and lightly sprayed with the correct oil. Best air filters I've ever used, and if looked after properly, can last for years (unlike conventional items)!:cool:

K&N filters have been making bikes faster for years - it was a name you grew up with, like Micron expansion pipes and Piranha ignition.

Took the little Honda Civic in for an oil and filter change last month. I was charged £55.00 for the air filter. I found this exact same one on line at Halfords for £7.95.
