Something decent for a change :D http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3010783577...84.m1423.l2649
Ooh, the cheek !
Oh, I don't know. They've got meters, innit?
This is far more worthy http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HARMAN-KAR...item417c3940cd
I've had 2... They are little crackers with a power supply that wouldn't be out of place in an amplifier twice the size !
Hi James....bet you could fix this...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Faulty-SON...item58ab45f7a5
Not necessarily anything wrong with it!
Those people get litterally containers worth of recycled electronics and electric equipment from lawnmowers to boutique hifi. They have so much it's just a case of seperating things out and selling them on - often no testing done unless they know it's of value and give it a quick power up.
Think they are officially local government sanctioned recyclers (recyling via re-use).
I'm already watching it  But in that poor condition without remote & of unknown origin even if it does play discs I wouldn't pay more than £50.
Nat is correct, most of the stuff they sell is fully working if a bit scruffy but that's the gamble you take... I'm not much of a betting man so tend to err on the side of caution. Quite often faulty stuff sells in auction for only 10-20% less than a fully working example - I don't know what loons are buying it but they are :mental:
I don't know either. The price that some of it goes for just seems mad to me. Mobile phones seems to be the worst. Some seem to think everything has a value. I've seen someone selling an i-phone 3 with the screen smashed to buggery and the upper 1/3 bent back at an angle of about 30% - and there was bids on it! What can you say!?!
At least it might show there are many optomists out there?
AKA dreamers... The worlds full of 'em :D
These Meridian M10s are very nice, even the Meridian style guarish rosewood they used to use a lot. £1200 start not so bad as it includes a 201/204

Great deep and fast bass and very dynamic and slammy. I found they didn't image as I like but I have a small room, small by their needed standards.
Great potential for swapping those T33s tweeters - Meridian upgraded the M10 tweeters to M100 tweeters for customers (probably dry of ferofluid now) - for ScanSpeak 95000s as the 90000 range appears to be an attempt to replicate the T33 (judging by impedance curves etc) AND the bolts are in the same place. Have to widen the opening on the tweeter plate though slightly..
Very nice, Dual power supply, fully dual mono Exposure VII pre-amp with 2 x VI PSUs - might go for a good price due to terrible photos:

Always fancied trying some Kelvin Labs but they go for more than I'm willing to pay, this one looks no different:

Wow rare rare rare! RAM's version of the Kef 105, the RAM 400:

Looks like they use KEF B110s, the SP1003 version.
Cheap Ortofon cartridge alignment protractors on eBay. Basic, but should be decent enough for less than a fiver:

Nice project perhaps in Northampton - AR7s in need of a re-foam for 99p, 10hrs left (silly 9am finish at the weekend..):

I meant I've come across RAM 400s before on ebay ... not just this pair.
Bargain if you live in Surry:

I'd have them if I did.
Not the right place to ask but saves wasting server space on 3 post threads...
How crap is the Garrard Zero 100 ? There's one locally for £20 but I'm not sure if thats £19.99 too much :eyebrows:

Bargain Alert: Cambridge Audio R40 speakers
http://http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cam...item4acfbc247f
Little brother version of the highly regarded R50 floorstanding transmission line speakers (personally can vouch for these).
Replacement and upgraded crossovers available from Falcon Acoustics (no relation to etc .... ).
Good hunting someone ..... they really are too good not to be snapped up :)
They go for about £80, I gather.
The Kef drivers must be worth more than £80!
M Miles .
I don't even want to ask why this is listed under Hi-Fi:

Pair of kabuki speakers down the road from me http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-KE...item417c2fdc58
I'll bet they sound rather good with a big controlling amp running them.
That is the essence of... kabuki http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...buki%20Speaker
They might be amazing, who knows !?
