As the skies are grey and gloomy, and the rain falls down in Wrexham, watching it drip down the window, in pearlescent silvery slithers, from the warmth and comfort of my lounge, I've chosen something moody and atmospheric to listen to, which is also rather dark but strangely comforting....

Lol - had to look him up, as I'd not heard of that dude before... Not sure his music is my thing.

Not into the other GP, then? I just love his rich and honeyed vocal tones - the closest you'll get these days to a replacement for Nat King Cole:)

Does anyone know why GP wares that peculiar piece of headgear? Is it his 'trademark' or just a gimmick?

One of the first albums I ever bought. always loved it, The studio side has a dark feel to it, the live side is pretty raw. deffo a "marmite" album.

As a Teen, I used to live in a shit hole town on the edge of Essex nowhere, that no band ever visited. I would have Lurved to have seen this band in their prime.. Weavers Answer is still a Desert Island disc.
