For Marco...
Spoke to the owner today. 507 bhp chipped to produce 546 bhp.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d70808b3ad.jpg
Just the job in a country with a 70 limit and speed cameras everywhere. :)
I wonder how many of those in the country. Can't be many. Yeah it's not a great car to keep you licence in.
Even I think it is a little excessive.
In all honesty much more than 300 bhp is getting a bit excessive for road use. At around 350bhp it starts to become the car testing you not you pushing it. At least in sports cars.
Nice one, mate. It's gorgeous. I love the colour scheme, which I wouldn't have thought until I saw it! In terms of power, it's typical of a C63. Love it to bits, but as I said before it's impractical for my needs. The Brabster's mentalist enough, mapped (race-tuned using special NASCAR software) to 315bhp, and with all that lovely diesel torque...
Marco.
One thing he said was if you floor the accelerator you have to take your foot back very quickly or you end up in the middle of the road the wrong way round:D
OK he was talking about going round corners in that context. But still, you need to be careful was his point.
Lol, we've been here before, daftee... Firstly, it's not about top speed, but rather acceleration, especially the midrange power-band which kicks in from 40-70mph. That, not only puts a big GRIN on your chops when you're shoved back, in your seat and can feel that power, but is very useful for overtaking/blasting past slow-moving traffic on country roads!:eyebrows:
Secondly, there are still parts of the UK where the roads are empty and you can enjoy driving a performance car, without a speed camera in sight (rural North Wales being one)... And if, like me, you enjoy going to Germany to drive on the Autobahn, then on most stretches there is no speed limit, which trust me, is a total HOOT!:D
