Not a bargain as such but I'm sure a wonderful sound. I suspect not for your average semi or terrace house. :D

Not eBay but richer sounds, a denon 720ae amp for £59!! Refurbished but still a bit of a bargain:) scratch that, it seems to be an old add , I was going to buy it:(
Not eBay,
Found this over in Denmark. It's a Z504 Avance power amplifier.

I was very tempted by it but have decided to wait till I'd heard the Krell.
One of these was on display at the Penkridge bakeoff and I was impressed by it's clean sound. 60w in Class A and has a switch on the back to swap to 200W in class AB. It was coupled to a pair of Urei's and very good comments were made about the sound.
After a chat with Peter (seller) in Excellent English, The cost is £400 delivered to the UK.
Not associated, just thought someone may like this beast.

Weren't they part of the LuxKit range?
Yes they were Geoff. A lot of Luxkit, if not all, will have been built by someone different. There was also a couple of different ways to do them too, so I've read.
This model, the "Avance" was assembled by a Belgian company after concerns were raised by Luxman that English speakers would misread the instructions. These ones are a Factory build from the kits. A professional build so to speak.
All of the reviews on this model are rather good and add up to what I deem as a good rep.
Had I not been blinded by a Krell lust, I would have gone for this.

And just to muddy the waters even more. Have you seen this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Naka...AAAOSwi7RZDldy
Yes, it's a Nelson Pass design. And not UK spec.
There's another make that seems to bypass most people. Adcom, if you don't know them, check out their amps. I've got the GFA 555 on my watch list.
A mate has a Nak PA-5 and I've been bugging him to sell it to me for years. I'm glad to see the one in Kent being sold - sets a reference price point where I can continue to bug my friend.
It is an absolute beast - a two man lift - unless you have been into serious weight lifting at the gym.
I have actually got another amp on the way from China ebay. It's a TPA3116 integrated, just for a bit of fun and it cost me a whopping £17.
Here's a bench test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6WkVSr_Hn8 Looks good!
Rumour has it that these are a bit special and very nice sounding.
(yes, I do have a suitable PSU)
This one looks a pearl
Would need a US TO UK voltage adapter but damn, looks sexy

Had to look that one up. The Burson looks about the same size as the TPA3116.
I've got an SMSL Mini T Amp that's about half as big, it's really tiny, but sounds very decent. It always amazes me the something the size of a fag packet can drive a pair of speakers. It drives my big Tannoys Ok.
I'm getting very good sq out if it, easily as good as a lot of Amps I've heard and the thing it tiny. It's also got the quietest background noise of ANY amplifier I have ever heard. Simply silent. Even of max there is no noise. Nothing.
I'm impressed but it is a fair investment, £500? Still, it's perfect for small spaces. Seriously impressive.

You're as bad as me. Always pissing about with different bits of equipment!
What impressed me recently was a mid seventies Cambridge Audio P80 integrated. It really is nice sounding. It's a follow on from the classic P40, P50, P60, P70 series. Made when Cambridge were a prestige brand, not Richer Sounds cheapos.

lol, I just like trying different things mate. Charles is a nice guy too so i don't mind putting his gear through the rigors of Metallica etc.
Cambridge made some really good stuff. I tried a headamp under the A&R label and that was very impressive.
looks like a good deal

So does this. Tannoy 638 for £100. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Tann...UAAOSwGXlbipeD
What about these speakers. There is one crease on one of the drivers.

I've seen the odd pair of Rega speakers with symmetric tweeters but most seem to have them offset the same way, it drives me nuts. I appreciate it saves money, but why not centre them if you don't want to mirror them. Makes me think of a cheap Aiwa midi system I had when I was young.

They should be great with that amp.
Tannoy DC200 speakers on ebay. Do not be tempted, they're not nice. Coloured, two dimensional and dull.

Tannoy Prestige.
