I dont know this Lp but I love Gonsalves....

So, I went to you tube for a listen.

That doesn’t feel like Gonsalves to me. The phrasing is not him. ( although I could be wrong, i dont think so )

Had a quick google and he is on the recording. But I’m not sure !!

Possibly Jimmy Hamilton, who is also credited. I know his clarinet playing, but not so much his tenor playing. I suspect it may be him.

Anything on the sleeve notes, Grant ?

Just trying to rip a boxset of Ellington actually.. The metadata is all over the shop :doh: some discs have 2 albums on too.. I will get a few out of it before i pull my hair out tho.:D
