Yes, Naim also advise keeping equipment turned on 24/7 which gives the caps an expected life span of around 10 years... Its a very cleverly constructed money making racket.

I do think the whole "UK tuned" tuned thing is complete marketing BS though. I cant speak for the older amps but I know for a fact the last Denon amps to be "UK tuned" are actually made worse... they replaced the standard polyprop coupling capacitors with cheap electrolytics & removed the transformer screen :rolleyes:
I've no idea what mods my 250 had but it had an outstanding sound. Not very powerful of course so I suppose the 350 would be superior although I've never heard one of those. I've had a 250 Mk III too but it wasn't anything like as good.
