What was the Egg fuzzy?
The Egg fuzzy was The Polite Force, I already have a copy but this has less surface noise. ;)

Yeh i know, saying that i keep getting blown out bidding for 'Civil Surface' on Caroline Recs
Didnt like Hatfield & The North
Glad I found this thread, I like to know what outlets are available so if I travel to a distant town I can check out whats in their stock. I much prefere to use real shops where you can inspect and even listen to the record before purchase.
Went to Glasgow a couple of weeks back checked out http://www.monorailmusic.com/
They have a large selection of NEW VINYL both re-release and first time release. I Guestimated by counting the number of rows and bays that they had about 2,500+ new records on display.
They cater for Jazz, Rock, Folk, Regae pretty much everything. I noticed Kind of Blue by Miles Davis in one bay. I purchased the re-release of Forever Changes by Love, bit of classic Psychedelia.
I noticed only 30 or so second hand records pushed in to one bay and commented on the lack of second hand items. The manager said they had loads of second hand in storage but just didn't have the space for it, "besides used original vinyl is only ever going to go up in value." So I guess they are waiting till this wave of intrest in vinyl peaks before they dip into that stock and reap max profit.
Hi Ken,
Monorail is fantastic. I always pop in there when I'm up in Glasgow. It's one of the few places I know where you can buy some records, then retire to the bar for a few beers and a decent meal, and mong out on some nice comfy chairs, whilst looking through the stuff you've bought! Quality
There are a few other record shops in Glasgow I'd recommend. Next time you're going, let me know and I'll give you the details.
Marco.
