Unfortunately the finish on that PL-570 is also fake plastic vinyl veneer... I know 'cos I just sold one ! :D
I think it is the type of faux-finish that Marco objects to as opposed to faux-finishes in general. I agree with him that the 'Rosewood' effect looks particularly nasty.Quote:
