Transatlantic (S)TRA 160 (1967)
Rare 1967 UK 14-track stereo LP of experimental astonishment by the Scottish composer the labels first stereo release recorded throughout 1966 in the basement flat of 34 Elgin Crescent London W11 featuring Geesin playing all instruments including voice harmonica piano harmonium banjos guitars percussion sound effects & tape manipulation.
Catalogued by Discogs as:
Genre: Electronic, Jazz, Non-Music
Style: Abstract, Spoken Word, Experimental, Ragtime
It is a mixture of Musique Concrète with surreal whimsical 'lyrics' spoken by Geesin in his rich Scots accent. The Ragtime piano is reminiscent of the piano accompaniment to old silent movies. Definitely weird - but I like weird! :)
Geesin collaborated with Pink Floyd both on 'Atom Heart Mother', as well as with Roger Waters on the music for the film 'The Body'.

Matching Mole - 'Matching Mole's Little Red Record'

Japanese CD pressing with packaging made to look like it is a mini LP, complete with inner sleeve (their so-called "Papersleeve Collection")!
The second of Robet Wyatt's solo recordings, made after he had left Soft Machine (the title is a rather clever punning Parthian shot. :))
Had this box set delivered today. Love this album. Initially was amazed when opening. 3 albums, two books, poster (it was $140 Cdn) Started playing them....the first two albums are both Paranoid (different mixes)...the 3rd is a live concert...and both were covered in mini scratches. This is the 3rd time I've bought something supposedly brand new and it looked like someone had taken a steel wool pad to them....very disappointed....back it goes...and I won't replace. I have the original...with less cracks and pops.
