Whereas I feel it adds useful background info and interest to who Bowies influences were and how they shaped his music. I don't care if they are better than the originals, or not, that is not what the Album is about. Differing views do make life more interesting though.Quote:

I don't think he needed to add anything to them, not for me anyway - I like the songs, and I like Bowie. That's good enough for me. The originals were before my time so the Bowie versions were new to me - if I'd grown up with those songs I would feel differently I'm sure.Quote:
