I was in the departure lounge at LHR four times last year. The problem is not in departing - the difficulties happen when you return!
It is going to take 6 weeks to get my LP12 serviced :(

48 hours without a smoke and it's killing me - how soon will things get better? Right now I'm hating the world and everything in it...

I know the feeling. I was at that stage for the umpteenth time years ago and bought a vape kit. It immediately got rid of that 'going nuts' feeling. Not looked back and don't even think of fags these days. Saving a lot of money too!Quote:

One thing I'm trying (although I've not told Mrs. P yet) is putting away £20 each week into a "hifi" tin, which I'm hoping will give me some incentive. I may have cheated a bit, I've already got 40 quid in it, and I only quit on Thursday ;)
try keeping busy and sleeping. less chance of thinkng about it.. youll get there if you want to. i smoked 60 a day for near 40 yrs

Police in the US are searching for four monkeys that escaped after a truck carrying 100 of them was involved in a crash.
The trailer, which was carrying the monkeys to a laboratory in Florida, collided with a dump truck on a motorway in Pennsylvania.
No-one was hurt, but some monkeys managed to escape.
Two have been located, but the authorities are still trying to catch them, the New York Times reports.
Two others remain on the run. :D

A robot vacuum cleaner made a break for freedom after giving staff the slip at a Travelodge hotel.
The automated cleaner failed to stop at the front door of the hotel in Orchard Park in Cambridge on Thursday, and was still on the loose the following day.
Staff said it just kept going and "could be anywhere" while well-wishers on social media hoped the vacuum enjoyed its travels, as "it has no natural predators" in the wild.
It was found under a hedge on Friday.:D

i had an issue with a skoda octavia that the windows would open, often fully at odd times like middle of night, and you'd find car soaking wet. too ages to get a fix, and it turned out to be the key fobs, which were reprogrammed.Quote:

oh, i like all my gadgets:eyebrows: like at moment, i put something in bin and saw the orange light on bonnet on.. means the car is topping up the 12v system battery with the traction battery, or at least checking if it needs it. it takes very little from the traction but a full 12v one is good as it runs all the low level stuff as in an ice car.
