This is so you know what speed the records are playing. You couldn't tell otherwise - certainly not by listening!

Indeed, and it's just a tarted-up Clearaudio (who make it for McIntosh)! :rolleyes:

Sorry, Alex, I LOVE McIntosh amps, and their illuminated meters, but their T/T is quite simply a fugly, blingy, monstrosity of the highest order, and a rather a rip-off to boot.....
