Just working through my Christmas pressies right now. Started with The Eagles' "Hell Freezes Over", then Talk Talk "The Colour of Spring", and now ELP's "Trilogy". Bit disappointed with that one - great music, well produced, but pressing is shitter than shit spread onto a shit sandwich with a turd side salad. It was a gift so I'll have to see about sending it back. Simpler if I'd bought it from a record shop :(
Have to disagree with you vehemently, Barry. Not sure about him snubbing JP or Eavis, news to me. I can understand why older people back then didn't like him, my parents hated him, as he was perceived as an odd gender-bender and a bad influence.Quote:
