I hope it's better than American Ford chassis of old - although I've only driven a powerful T-Bird, not a Mustang. That was... agricultural.
New tax disc! Did you know you have to change it at midnight? If your vehicle is kept on the public highway there is no discretionary period. If you display only the old disc after midnight or the new one before midnight the 'meanies' can bust you! Crazy isn't it.
I've got one starting tomorrow and that's when I'll display it.
Now I was never a fan of these, but this is the epitome of "time warp" - deserves to go in a museum IMHO...

If you mean "it was a shit car then", well yes I'd agree. It's still shit.
Depends what you mean. They never had a 'desirable' image, but I had a couple and got on alright with them. They were reliable, dead easy to maintain, good on juice and the supple suspension made them ride quite well. Same applied to the Allegro that everybody slated. I had a BMW 316 back then and when I sold it I got a cheap Allegro 1300. It did everything well and was quicker off the mark than the BMW. Much cheaper to run too.
Nah, fire some BP Ultimate into it and it'll be fab!!
Marco.
The Mini Metro was a death trap. Rates pretty high on my "reasons to avoid" list
Can you not chip the engine, then? :eyebrows:
Marco.
You could chip the bodywork...
