Well done Jamie, it is a very good turntable and I really do regret selling mine a number of years back.
I believe Adam has at least one of these, possibly two.
Just make sure that they send it properly packed with the platter and arm removed.
Nigel
Hahaha what happened to "mums the word"?

On Gumtree Sony amp, cd player and speakers bargain £15 Southampton https://www.gumtree.com/p/hi-fi-sepa...yer/1282470077
This is a nuts asking price. Why would anybody in their right mind pay £225 for a busted Dynavector DV-10X5 (although this is actually an X4).

Lmao, I've as good as stopped Geoff. The Wizard is a keeper and everything else is staying. Cart and Headamp to pay for and I'm done. No more swapping. I've heard loads of stuff, bought loads and I'm finally at a place where I'm sure what I have will compete at any level. May not be the best but it definitely won't be the worst.
That said, I do have a Decware ZP3 on the way for a listen [emoji23][emoji23]

Too much pocket money. That's what I blame it on! :D
Hmm. My Pioneer PL-61 must be worth a fortune then.

well it should be with me early next week,i hope its a good one,it looks to be going by the photos but you cant be sure until you see (and hear) it in the flesh.
im hoping it will better the rock2,fingers crossed.
A beautiful deck Jamie. Looking forward to seeing how it goes for you. :)
Trio KA-2000 amp at £165. Are you kidding?? Thirty to forty quid tops is what I'd pay. Assuming I wanted one, which I wouldn't.

That's for one. I don't care how rare it is, it's a loony price. It'll probably go to Japan for a mono system.
This dealer asks steep prices for most of his stuff. £725 for poxy little Goodmans Maxims, I ask you! I don't care if they are the alnico version. I used to buy these for a fiver a pair at boot sales years ago.
Big Ears Audio = Idiot!
S.
Certainly his stuff moves rather slowly ...many years ago - I think about 7-8 years ago - I made what I thought was a very fair offer on a pair of Pamphonic 2001 KT66 monoblocks. Not only are they still there, the price is exactly the same as it was back then (which I would posit tells us something about whether £2800 is the right price or not!).
Unless he paid stupid money for them (unlikely I would think) surely turnover in stock is more important in business than having stuff sitting around waiting for a mug prepared to pay top whack and then some?
Some ebay Hi-Fi traders are, as Shane suggests, idiots. I recently had an inexcusable experience with 'planethifidotcodotuk' as he calls himself. I shall elaborate on a dedicated thread later once I've compiled the data.

These are worth the money if you are local :)
Cheap Sony stack if you needed a starter system ( in Stoke ), if its still there - £30

Tannoy DC200 speakers. Don't be tempted. They are the worst dual concentrics I've heard.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-T...EAAOSwgLlaWlGx
Non Original drivers i think so...
Tannoy Jaguars

 how much  are they that special ?
Tannoy DC1000 speakers. £50 starting price. These are good fun! In Borth, Wales.

Interesting looking large JBL 8340 speakers. Not a model I know. Need surrounds, but cones look good, no big deal to fix.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JBL-8340-....c100005.m1851
There were some for sale near to me a few years ago so I did some research. JBL still make them although slightly updated. Bass rolls off really high, even against a wall. You need subs with them, that is part of their design. But agree the drivers would be worth salvaging.
Rothwell MCX SUT. Would've had this myself but not an ideal match for the Kontrapunkt b, according to the figures.

I know!!
Was supposed to be waiting until April for a Hashimoto HM-3 but being the impatient shit I am, bought this.
To be fair, it kills two birds with one stone. I want to give a SUT a good run (April is about right) and also really wanted to try a Rothwell SUT. Full on review and comparison will be done around April time when/if the Hashimoto become available. May even be able to run the rule over some HM-7 too.
Tannoy System 10 DMT in Derby. Very nice sounding speakers these. Punchy too.
Only bid to £57 so far. They'll fetch a lot more than that.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TANNOY-SY...53.m1438.l2649
Cheers, Tom. Luckily they are used and owned by a friend so they should be well warmed up by the time I get hold ..... if I get hold of them.
The Rothwell MCX has a bit to live up to in that respect but I'm very hopeful. The Transformers are of high quality so let's see!!!!
KEF Corelli speakers, quite rare. Need a service, but may go cheap. In Dalston, north of central London. Lovely sounding speakers, amazingly transparent. I have a pair, think LS3/5a with bass. I reckon these need a recap and resoldered joints. Best all-rounder of any of the classic 'C' range of KEF's.
