I kept looking at my poor old Beemer slowly decomposing through lack of use, due mainly to my state of health when I decided it's time to either sort it out or get rid of it. It is quite elderly but is a comfy thing for my ample physique so opted for keeping it. It is Mot'd, taxed and insured so just get it started and remove the heavy layer of tree sap covering it. Four hours and one mobile valeter later she looks great and I've been liberated from the flat.

The camera angle makes it look like you've crashed it into that bush, Ian!:eek: Does the car have to be parked so far forward? I'd have thought the bushes are scratching the paintwork... How did you manage to clean the front of it in that position?;)
Anyway, looks much better now. Have you started it up and taken it for a run? Cars need used, and simply deteriorate otherwise. The battery will probably need a charge up, from the car being taken for a run, preferably somewhere you can give it a bit of 'welly', which the whole engine will benefit from:cool:

Serious bit of machinery though. I remember when it was rare to see a BMW on the road, you'd stop and look if one went past.
Quality paintwork on BM's. A good polish can change one from being rough as a badger's arse to mint :) And a new air freshener too! It must have thought Christmas was here.
