Yip, it is a great film and I think, his favorite.
One of my favourites, of comparatively modern 1960 vintage, is 'The Apartment' with Jack Lemmon & Shirley MacLaine, might pop it on in a bit.
A fab film Roy...I have it as well....love Jack and as you say one of the great humorous Billy Wilder films, but with a definite dark side.
& Shirley looks delicious 'ring a ding ding'
Watching a few episodes currently of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee with my brother. I love Jerry Seinfeld and loved his show from the 90s. This new show he has is just as fun to watch I feel. :-)

Tonights later than usual evening screening is the Powell & Pressburger film... One of our Aircraft is Missing (1942); I think it was their first major collaboration. It stars Bernard Miles(to become Sir), Geoffrey Tearle, Eric Portman and Emrys Jones, who was cast as a raf crew and a football star(which he was in real life).
The crew that made this were snapped up by Noel Coward for his film In Which We Serve as he was so impressed by their ability to do so much, with so little in such a short time:eyebrows:

I am reading this thread but nothing much to contribute at the minute.
I was watching the pilot to Buck Rogers earlier on you tube. I can see why I had a thing for Princess Ardala ( Pamela Hensley) and not Wilma Deering (Erin Grey) back in the day ;)
