Just make sure to put them down the front, it sends a very different message down the back of your trunks

I seem to have developed a bulge in the back of my trunks, and the message is "eat more fibre".
When was the last time you saw anybody wearing a jean jacket? I've not seen one for years. Quite used to like them.
Quite recently, but you only see women wearing them these days. The 'Quo' look may never come back in.
Good bit of kit a jean jacket. Hard wearing and looks better for a year or two of use. If you pick the right one, the outside pockets double as inside pockets too. Not ideal for bitter winter days, but great the rest of the year.
All the more reason now to start wearing them, simply to buck the trend! ;)
I used to have loads of (Wrangler) denim jackets. I had a belter of a Rush patch (2112, I think) sown onto the back of one, along with various others from AC/DC, UFO, etc, which I wore to school (5th and 6th year), along with my black leather biker's jacket, which had a massive patch of Gong's 'Flying Teapot' on the back!:eyebrows:
I wore those, along with black drainpipe jeans and 18-hole Docs (with green laces), when I came to school on my motorbike (then a brand new RD125):D
Marco [a cool dude, back in the day].
Hehehe... Well the girlies loved it! :eyebrows:
Marco.
I still have a Levi's jacket, but I grew too big for it 20 years ago.
Anyway, I mostly wear denim jeans, and if I wore both, kids would shout "double denim" at me as I kept on truckin' down the street (apparently that's a thing these days).
Really painful lower back :(
I've had this back pain for ages now and it's really getting me down
I'm using a back stretcher which does help a bit and am booking in for some physio as well
I sympathise with you Bev, back pain can be total misery.
Don't know the nature of your problem, but with me it's sciatica, which nags my back and sends "electric shocks" down one leg if I've been standing, walking or reaching up for more than a few minutes. Luckily, sitting sorts it, then I can get another few minutes.
Sometimes the problem is muscular spasm, and can happen if I've lifted a heavy or awkward object (my head sometimes thinks I'm 30, and my body goes "actually you're sixty").
I found chiropractors can help, but can get a bit pricey (about £40 first visit, £25 subsequent visits). And the effectiveness varied with the three different chiropractors I used. Still worth a try though. One of them recommended cod liver oil capsules too, but I don't know if it was them, or the therapy that helped me. Once my back was better (after a couple of weeks) I discontinued both.
Whatever treatments you go with, I wish you well.

A few years ago, when doing my morning commute on my trusty Suzuki GS750, I had a van come out of a side road, and into my path (like they do). I flew over the bars, and across the bonnet of the van, resulting in my upper right leg being impaled on the aerial (ouch).
I was taken to hospital in an ambulance and the A&E department removed the piece of aerial. It wasn't very deep, and I was otherwise unhurt, so I was discharged soon after.
I was back at work a couple of days later, and all seemed well, but then after about four days I noticed a bit of a rash had developed around the site of the wound. The doctor prescribed some antibiotics and told to "see how I got on".
Another 3 or 4 days passed and the antibiotics were having no effect, in fact the rash (more like blistering) had spread up towards my groin. Another visit to my doctor. Completely baffled, he promptly referred me to a specialist, who informed me that it was the worst case of van aerial disease he'd ever seen
Oh that's bad! :doh::D
Marco.
:D
Found out today I have a spare grand or so in my bank account. Hmm.............Now what do I spend it on?
The car? Hi-Fi? Loose women and booze? Or just be a skinflint and carry on pretending I'm broke! :D
Ah I see... Complete opposite from me (as I have online banking), so it must be a nice surprise - bit like getting an unexpected tax rebate! :)
Marco.
Is it burning a hole in your pocket Geoff?
I remember the first time I had a grand left in the bank at the end of the month. I was 33.
hi geoff :eyebrows:
:D
Yo! :D
disgraceful.. its a free hand to farters across the world;)
Yeah. As soon as they get a whiff of this they'll be at it. :D
Nothing wrong with having a wee 'pump' in an enclosed space (as they say, better out than in)... I've dropped a few of the 'silent but violent' variety before in lifts! When they come out 'hot', you just know they're gonna stink!!:eyebrows::D
Be proud of your fragrant emissions.
Marco.
Geoff, get a life!
;)

Talking of 'farts in lifts'. This from Peter Sellers is the most famous.

Very pissed off at the moment. Some twat has parked an Audi in my residential parking bay right across the gates to my garage. Romanian plates on it (unsurprising). I shall be having a word if I spot him coming back.
apple up exhaust :D
At the very least, let down the car's tyres, so that there's less chance of him/her collecting it without you being aware! That way, you can stand there telling them what fuckwits they are, whilst they find a way of re-inflating the tyres...:eyebrows:
Also, I presume you've got a tyre pump? If so, then after you've given them their (well-earned) 'mouthful', tell them that you'll let them use the pump if they promise not to park there again, and if they do, next time their tyres will be slashed!
After that, I suspect they'll learn their lesson in future ;)

Decades ago, my Dad used a potato to similar effect.
On another occasion, a Transit van blocked his drive, he could not get his car out, and he had a business appointment (was in his early 80's at the time). I took a large trolley jack out of the garage, lifted the Transit under the rear axle and pushed it down the road, unfortunately, the van drifted towards the centre of the road as I could not really steer it! Fortunately, there was still room for cars to pass. I guess the Transit driver was surprised when he came back!
I was a construction worker in a previous life, and on a large job site I worked, the architect would blast up in his fancy sports car and just park anywhere he liked. He didn’t want to get his $400 loafers dirty. They were leveling the lot, and he parked right where they were working, and a huge D9 bulldozer backed slam over his car! Crushed it down about ankle high! He was livid! And all of us workers could not contain our laughter, making him all the more red in the face. He stormed off walking, where to I have no clue. He never came back, his assistant made all the return trips. Ah, memories!

My understanding is that while it is an offence to block a private drive preventing someone accessing the public highway from the drive it isn't an offence to stop someone accessing the private drive i.e. if you park in front of an empty drive it isn't an offence but it is if there is a car on the drive. A tad annoying.
I guess it may be different for different local authorities. Here they will ticket you if you block a pedestrian dropped kerb at an informal road crossing.
If the wheels are good, remove them and sell 'em on ebay. When the owner returns, tell him about the terrible crime rate in that area. That should put him off ever returning, and you make a few bob too. :)
The bugger and his mate just turned up and removed the car. I had a go at them. A couple of swarthy looking Slavs. They apologised, not that they meant it. Barely understood English.
Just as well I hadn't been wanting to get the bike out of the garage. Which I will be doing soon for its MOT.
Bet they'd understand dog shit on the door handles though.
Forgot to mention, I have a notice that I can print out on the computer, two of these fit on an piece of A4. If I get an inconsiderate parker I can stick one of these to the windscreen or door glass with Prittstick, this may cause the driver some inconvenience to remove!
Ha - I like that one!
I certainly would allow that to happen to me, without the perpetrators 'feeling some pain'...... :guns:
Such blatant inconsiderateness/selfishness/stupidity (select one that applies most, if not all), really rips my knitting!!
Marco.
This is why I used Prittstick, it will come off with water.
Funny thing about a week ago, a Police car blocked me in and I wanted to get my car out. I waited about half an hour, could not see anyone, waked up and down the road looking for the driver. I decided to leave a Polite notice under the wiper (no Prittstick). Eventually, the Police came back to their car, I must say, they were apologetic.
You should have slashed their tyres and put a brick through the windscreen!
