The add says quite clearly that they are Ethos cabs, and Dynaudio drivers. A kind of Diy/kit job me thinks, there is no Ethos badge, only 2 spk terminals rather than the Ethos 4 etc. The 3rd question obviously some interested party has not read the description that well, and seems to think they are Ethos speakers. What i hate is that the seller rather then say look at description again etc, kind of leads the buyer on. iI can understand they want as much as they can get, but for me i find that dishonest and see this sort of thing happen more and more. Nice speakers though.
Look like dynaudio audience 42's with better cabs. if so then they will be quite good. Think they cost $700

I had a pair of the well regarded Dynaudio Contour 1.3 Mk.II speakers some years ago. They just didn't really 'do it' for me, so I bought another pair of Tannoy Eatons, so much nicer.
eatons were nice for the cab size. big drivers. i remember you selling them...didnt last long;)

dont 401s usually go for a lot more than this? or is it the lack of arm thats affecting it?
Without plinth and arm it is still slightly low but I've seen them go for much more too. Been a lot on market so prices are dropping
