The TT can be very good with some fettling I understand.

No Nick, the 'B77' is a bigger & different machine.. I do prefer the silver 'A77' of the MkI & II, but i'm hoping to take it upto the MkIV level in other areas...Don't know what the heads are like on this one till i get my hands on it but i can (if their not too bad) get them re lapped cheap enough, but i am considering some brand new heads at some point..I don't actually like the later 'A77' & 'B77' aesthetics..'B77's are way out of my proggy time zone anyway ;)
It landed yesterday, i've never seen an amp so scruffy internally, it's come up a dream now but blimey, i suppose thats the joys of large Ventalation slots i suppose. I must tidy that PCB up when i recap it, it's very untidy.Quote:
