Makes my top 3 Carpenter films.
Have the 4K remaster thinmywjig but not rewatched it in a while.
Interesting side note:
Rob Bottin, the practical special FX guru on Carpenter’s film The Thing, played the Head bad hombre, the big guy with the big scythe in the Church.
He’s six food and a lot...so why not?

I see 'From Here to Eternity' 1953, is on SONY MOVIES channel at 1.25pm. It's still a great film and well worth watching, the acting is superb!

It is Barry. Some good performances. Vincent D'Onofrio had to gain 5 stone for the part and this caused him to badly damage his knee on obstacle course. His weight gain was the most ever done for a film I believe.Quote:
