If you like deep, dark roasts, I am not sure you will find them at many speciality roasters. They tend to favour medium roasts.

Rave's Italian blend is pretty dark..https://ravecoffee.co.uk/collections...=3150416248858
The taste is good as is crema. im exploring this blended with the ones I got recently that are really dark. 70/30 to Italy at moment. seems to be the sweet spot. can send you some if you want.
I agree. Don't know if they're 'all at it', though. The coffee suppliers I've used so far haven't been guilty of spouting that bollox...
It's so annoying, and rather like being told, when buying cables from a hi-fi seller that 'Cable A', priced at £49.99, sounds 'mellifluously sweet with subtle overtones of low-frequency warmth', whilst 'Cable B', priced at £99.99, sounds 'pleasantly fresh with a hint of top-end honey'.
Erm, ferk off!:wanker:
Just tell us which beans are used, assholes, and *we* will decide what the taste is like!!:exactly:
Marco,
Ah, I see... Why don't you use your lappy instead, with a proper keyboard? Your 'posting station' downstairs is suitably equipped!:)
And even in bed, you can still use a lappy... Don't know how you can be arsed typing on a phone. It'd do my box in.
Still don't get what you were trying to say, in terms of "sweet lipids", even with your explanation of the missing/wrong letters:hmm:
Marco.
lipids are hydrocarbon molecules. they are in the oils extract from coffee; arabica lipids are much sweeter than robusta, hence its better taste. arabica also only contains about half the caffeine, and caffeine is bitter.. but robusta produces better crema, and is much cheaper, hence why its used both as a crema boost and a bulking agent. too much and it becomes bitter tho.
Ah I see now.... Thanks for that info. The main reason why I hadn't a scooby what you meant, was because I had no idea what lipids were!Quote:

P.S Why do you type on your phone more than your lappy? You'd make less mistakes if you used a proper keyboard.
use phone in bed. lappy is too cumbersome. if i remember i take ipad up, but usually forget. new phone has a biggish screen so its easier, but the bottom letters often become a space if im not seeing too well. gave my iphone to grandson as his packed up. he was delighted. the bigger screen helps a lot, plus sound wise the sony experia is top notch. it was a good buy; my son got one too just after xmas in sale. It used to be their flagship.
