Yes, it's from Jelco's 'high-end division', the same as my Ortofon RS-212D. Lovely arm, Darren. I applaud your lateral thinking in buying something different from the boring 'usual suspects' from SME, Rega, etc.
Enjoy!
Marco.

I love my Isokinetek Silver Melody SM750, but I do like the looks of the SME 309:)
Been doing a bit of work on mine. Out goes the wood look, in comes the Jaguar Old English White and a Jelco 750d and AT150MLX.

Edit: Thanks to Alex at Scott Nangle for supplying the arm and cart at great prices!
That looks very nice Keiron!
Very tidy! Is that a leather mat? I really like that white. It makes a good contrast - far better than the faux silver.
Yes, it's a leather mat. Made by someone who was on the Wam and ebay (Mr Colmondley Warner? I can't trace him any more). I have openly admited in the past that I can't hear differences between mats...but these look nice and seem to keep static in check!
It's actually less white than it looks in the picture - more of a cream in reality. I have to say, whereas the pics of my wood version were flattering, these pics don't do it justice! Everything is gleaming new and I have to say i'm very happy.
The cart isn't run in yet and I've only listened to a few LPs but so far, so good.
Nice work, Keiron. Was removing the pitch control 'gubbins' and switches a fairly straightforward task? :)
Marco.
Great work, that technics design looks very familiar:eek: http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...me-time/page24 see post 232:D
