Does anyone have any photos of the platter not in situ? I'm interested to see the underside as I cannot for the life of me work out how Funk can justify the RRP on this. :scratch:
Here's a photo of mine, although I don't see how that's going to help you. It's precision engineered acrylic with a very high precision sensor cog and made in very small production runs. The real proof is in the listening, and for me the sound quality is well worth the outlay.

As with anything in life, you pays your money and takes your choice, if it gives you what you were expecting keep it, if not send it back, could not be more simple really :)
Thanks for the photo Martin. It's great that you guys are pleased with the platter, I'd like to try one too, but can't afford Funk's asking price. I'll likely make my own at some point. This reminds me a lot of the Linn Keel.
