Those beans look oily!

Been enjoying Extract's Dr Strangelove, as per posts above. However, every single one I have made tastes different. Good to very good, but different.

As neat Espresso (no milk) straight out the pack a few days ago it was very nice indeed. I think it is starting to settle down now.

This is the problem with really freshly roasted beans. They really do need time to settle, as I have said before.

It remains to be seen whether the rest of the different coffees from them maintain this sort of standard.

the beans are much darker than that pic shows tbh. very glossy too. did a half and half with the italian after clearing what was on the burrs, but it wasnt much different.
its arabica and robusta. doesnt give the %

nope, they are quite decent for 2 month old beans; but not sure i will get through a kilo of them. i think i will add a third to my beans to improve the flavour of the italian ones maybe.. they are good but quite strong. i managed to lift 2 speakers after 2 cups:eyebrows:

Ah his rep is not as tarnished as perhaps I thought it might have bean (see what I did there?);)

Ah yes, it'll be the Robusta giving it that darkness, and also a touch of acidity. I've had that mix before, from Coffee Masters, and can say with certainty that the Exclusive Master Blend variety (100% Arabica) of theirs is much better!

Main thing is that the 2-month old roasting date you got isn't the norm:)

Just opened my bag of Coffee masters Blend Beans " roasted 23/11/18 " had a first cup , Will need time to adjust to the flavour , Has a slight bitterness , seems to have less creamer ( If thats how you spell it ) , strange smell ?
