Chilling out with a bit of Lenny in the sun on my patio with a beer.
Put together a nice little system here yesterday using a class T SMSL amp and some Adastra weatherproof speakers so can stay out.
I could get used to this lockdown malarkey.....

Never get bored with this album, puts her previous stuff in the shade for me.
Started the day a bit old folks-y, with Tony Bennett/kd Lang "A Wonderful World". Then "Beast of Carpenters". Just to ease Mrs. P into the day. Now onto Goldfrapp's "Felt Mountain". Let's see how far I get with that one :)
Sólstafir – Ótta
2x Clear Vinyl LP was surprised to see that this is almost 6 years old now...

Jack Bruce - Song for a Tailor.. This was his Debut album but technically it wasnt because his second release 'Things we Like' was recorded before 'Song for a Tailor'.. I don't like 'Things we Like' as it a Jazz album, No singing. However ' Song for a Tailor' is brilliant. As with Cream cool Pete Brown lyrics..

Top drawer prog:- Web 'I Spider'. This was their third & last album but the 1st without the American singer John L.Watson who sounded so like Johny Mathis . Dave Lawson being the man changed the bands name to Samurai which were equally as brilliant, but sadly only one album. Next move for Lawson would be with Ext Colosseum man: Dave Greenslade with you guessed it Greenslade.

Brings back memories of sitting in my best friends Mk1 Lotus Cortina driving down Hampshire lanes on a summers day with this blaring out on his 8-track, those were happy days.
Another favourite in the car was Roxy Music's first album.
