Yep they would be worth having a go on. 4x12 a side. You'd expect the bass to be at least adequate.

I've used both types. It makes no difference which base you have in my experience.

yep it all boils do to what you prefer in the end. i wonder why they made it bigger then if it made no difference? i mean why change the tooling for no reason?
i guess the designer thought there was an issue to address.

.They might have been easier/cheaper to produce without the protruding screw holes.

I think there is also a circular base available too.

Seems to be average price just now, last few that have finished on eBay all been around 195-225, I thought I had that one in my watch list but I obviously hadn't 🤔

I didnt put many hrs on it Jamie. Dunno about Mike tho. I was switching between 3 or 4 at time on different head. maybe 50hrs

I doubt it. I had about ten carts at the time and only used it now and then. It was in mint condition when I bought it. Don't think Grant put much mileage on it either.

It's a lovely sounding MC. I rated it as being alongside my ZYX R50 Bloom. I've been tempted to buy it back actually :).
