Brilliant album. I bought this when it came out at the end of '73. Playing this brings back some great memories. And the lady on the cover was a dead ringer for my then girlfriend (I wish!)Quote:

Spoon - Gimme Fiction (2005]
American indie rock, this is their fifth album and no idea why I bought it, probably a review in The Times as so many of my early 2000 CDs came via that route! I don’t have any other of their albums, but it’s pretty good so I may have to stream them.

Closing off the Sp section is Spyro Gyra. I only have 3 albums of their rather prolific output - this one from 1993, Love & Other Obsessions from 1995 and 1996’s Heart of the Night. Why nothing before (i.e Morning Dance) or after I have no idea!

I haven’t got the sleeve to hand, but I bet it is “DDD”!
