Hi Jamie, thanks for that. Cheers.
are you sure it's not Pool Otley rather than Poole. That is where the map suggests.
whoops my bad lol
Ahah, too late
Lovely example of a Sugden A21SE. But the postage is priced very high though! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sugden-A21...MAAOSwo4pYh5C4

"duel speekers" What a knob!

"Blatantly High End" It's a piece of junk! An even bigger knob!!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UNKNOWN-HI...YAAOSw4A5Yr1As
So 'high end' it looks like you have to fit your own stylus :rfl:
More like 'Knob end'.
Is it a 'bargain'? Hardly!
LP record of 'In The Court of The Crimson King' by King Crimson at £895!!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/king-crims...gAAOSwJQdXCCqJ
Perhaps I should dig mine out and flog it! :D
Seventies rock/prog original releases are going for silly money. Not just King Crimson either. Zep, Moodies, Floyd, etc.
Not ebay - i was contacted by a guy that does local house clearances bought HI-FI from him before including a very nice NAK - he sent me a text said he's got a marantz CD67 "Original SE" - so a text later to confirm buying - i picked up after 9am this morning - new plug and shes singing - nice the guys not interested in this stuff and let me have it for £10...:)
Just dig out the original remote i kept - this alone is worth a million quid you know! haha some prices of some remotes a getting OTT...:mental:
Yep they are the real goldmine stuff. I have a few as I was buying vinyl right to the bitter end, in about 1996. Hanging on to mine, will flog 'em to fund retirement - if I make it that far.
The reissues sound better than the originals in most cases. I think the 90s ones were cut from the same master as the CD. I don't like that they are splitting some of them into dual albums for no reason. If they're doing it to increase the dynamics it makes sense. Most of them I've bought recently don't have enough runtime to justify it.
Another over priced Kraken ( IMHO), this one has a selector switch fault too. I am sure this one has been doing the rounds. Serial number 11 .

I knew I had a copy. The original 1969 Island release. It's in better nick than the one on ebay. The sleeve is far better too.

used to have that one too. i gave it to a mate years ago.
You is in the money , Geoff!!:eyebrows:
Maybe I'll get luckier with this.

I believe that this is actually the rarest "Court Of The Crimson King" by a very long mile
http://i1326.photobucket.com/albums/...pswcm8sfng.jpg
Its daft , but there again some first pressings are 50 years old nearly ! I am waiting till the price on my 2 yrs stack of Sounds newspapers from 1972,(albeit with brown age stains on the edges ,having been under the bed for the last 40 yrs ) suddenly gets to the 'must have' timecale :eyebrows:
Can't be worth much if I've got one :)

Quite honestly, idiot collectors make my blood boil. You can bet if some OCD-afflicted clown pays £900 for this record it won't be listened to, it'll be blood catalogued, filed away and its value recorded in a spreadsheet somewhere.
All these people are doing is spoiling it for the rest of us who buy records to play and to listen to.
If genuine someone may get a good deal - tempted but must not..

Listed as JBL4410A monitors...actually 4412As, with the 12" bass driver. A give away price for 4412s. Reputation is deeper bass but not as tight.
Tatty cabs which would respond to a bit of TLC, and one tweeter is either not original or a replacement to a different spec. Tweeter are easily available on ebay, usually from the states.
Still, great fixer-uppers and could make someone very happy indeed.
