I'd say it is very musical and detailed, although I have the Dip connected. not tried it without. I like my AN but I think this pips it tbh.

I'm pleased to hear you are impressed with your new purchase Grant.. I love my AN Dac... it just sounds so natural...so if you have improved the sound with your new Dac then it must be very good indeed.. ;)

I had one of those Fisher tuner/amps, but unfortunately it was smashed in transit from the USA... it still sounded superb even in it's smashed state...;)

I sold it for next to nothing for spares/repairs... ;)

The Sony TT is still razzing me from close by too.....and not just me:eek:

Those are lovely. They are meant to stand right in the corner and use the walls as part of the horn mouth, that's why they are open at the rear sides. Bet they sound great.
