Name your fav local independent record shops!

I have to go to Bristol next week on business and I know there are a couple of record shops there. I will be near Broadmead area if that makes any sense. What would those "in the know" suggest?

For a couple of months now Graham Northwest and I have been ransacking the reord shops of the West Midlands like swashbucklers of old roving the Spanish Main ;) - today we went a bit further afield - to this place just outside of Nottingham:

Langley Mills Records - fantastic place - huge with everything laid out well, plenty of space and quite well catalogued too. Prices quite reasonable plus there is a 'dem room' in the back where you can try befoe you buy. Nice. There is a lot to go through, took several hours.

Anyway - Picked up this little lot for not more than three quid and change per record:

Yes, 'tis true i'm afraid. I have been telling one lot of pople I am at work in Manchester and another lot I am at work in London. When really I am in a greasy spoon somewhere with Martin plotting the assault. On this occassion, I kept the owner distracted whilst Martin actually got down, under the tables and started emptying boxes. My big prize today was the three LP discography by Rush, in mint condition, for a fiver!!
Then Floyd "the Final Cut" and you could tell it was a real enthusiast had it as it is in a Nagakoa sleeve and the original sleeve inserted into the cover as well!

I was in my only local record store yesterday and what a mess it has got into. Europa records in Stirling. In the vinyl bit at the back you had to climb over boxes of records and loads of LP's were out in the wrong place. He really needs to get rid of all the dross and believe me there are loads of crap poor condition records that need to go in a skip ..also he overcharged me £5 ..

A good record shop is Wanted records in Beckenham Kent.
They have a very good stock of second hand vinyl and Cds.
