I wrote a nice little post before my b'stard PC crashed & i just can't be arsed again :rolleyes:
Briefly the Behringer DCX sound vastly better than the previously installed Behringer CX-3400, no doubt due to the fact that i have added delays to get all the drivers time aligned. I now have them pinned down to within 1mm & the result is pretty impressive. What was some kind of sound before is now easily discernable & the stereo image is much more cohesive than it was previously - no easy thing :eyebrows:
The Antimode 8033 (pair of - one for each channel) have made a significant difference to the bass :) There is no trace of any room modes & every bass note is easily picked out from it's neighbour. Bass does appear to be a hell of a lot faster & there is absolutely no boom what so ever, it does appear to have effectively gotten rid of the room ;)

Hi Martin, cheers for popping in chap :) It actually is pretty impressive & i'm talking about the sound rather than how it looks. Frankly i don't care about that as i'm not looking at it as it's to my right. I'll get some kind of comprehensive results typed up of what the two DSP black boxes have done & i can tell you it certainly isn't subtle. I'll give it another week so i'm fully aquainted with them on different types of bass (deep, rhythmic, punchy etc) & then hit the bypass buttons & i know i'm not going to like what i used to hear :lol:Quote:

Aye agreed, the DCX is a good bit of kit. Nice setup Mark.
