Hi Marco,
Wait until your Pi-Dac hits 50 hours +, it really starts to shine.
Mike.
I used to worry about this sort of stuff but if I'm honest I can't tell the difference and cds still sound good to me. No wires - no grounding issues as far as I see.
All my streaming streaming, movies music themail lot is wireless. Dropouts never occur. I use the latest virgin superhub on their fastest connection and stream whilst working and other people using the net as well
I suppose I better admit to paying £50 on eBay for 5m of meicord Ethernet cable...
Supposedly highly rated but it's unshielded and cat5!
People hear what they hear or think they hear, if they are happy then they are happy and that's all that counts but please try to keep a realistic head on your shoulders and don't spend £1600 on a Cord audiophool Ethernet cable. ;)
This is a good read for those interested, look away now Marco, LOL! http://archimago.blogspot.co.uk/2015...and-audio.html
Go straight to the conclusion/summary....
this caught my eye in there too!

just goes to show how far the marketing departments will go...
Not to much difference in the price between cat 5 and cat 7 if you avoid the audiophile versions
