My late Dad called me sparrow from an early age. It got a bit embarasing when he still called me that as a young adult. I like to use it where possible in his memory. He was a good Dad who brought me up on his own.

I tried to think of something original. Techno comes from my love of music of that genre and the commander bit comes from working as a LD or production manager at rather large parties and therefore in charge of lots of buttons.:)

I believe that is Sheriff Buford T. Justice, from the Smokey & The Bandit films, played by Jackie Gleason. Not sure if effem (I also thought it was a "two finger salute" reference) can explain the significance, if there is any...?
