A favourite Santana album of mine, I never particularly liked it when I was in my teens and 20's, I preferred their more commercial stuff, but as I have got older I realise just how good this and there 3rd Album are.

Funny I haven't seen anyone else listening the the Dead on AoS, maybe I just missed it, an acquired taste I suppose.

Gotta be Honest. I just never got the dead, I shared a bedsit one time with a guy who did, still couldn't get them. He was also fond of Kevin Ayers and "Joy Of A toy" I did get.

You posted Santana's Caravanserai earlier which never fails to make me smile. If you have never listened try "Welcome" it left me cold when I bought it on release but I now think its one of their very best.

Dead covers were all a bit, out there.. My mate had one of there early ones. Forgot name but had a giant sun on front and the usual skull [emoji23]
It wasn't my cuppa even then.

This is another bloody good album from Eefje. Packed with quality. An artist maturing nicely.

Yes I was much the same listening to the Dead in my 20’s and I found them a bit dull then, but didn’t know why. I decided to give them another go a few years ago and know I realise why they are so good, there musicianship is superb, and as a band they interplay off each other, sometimes it sounds laid back but actually it very much not. It is hard to explain as you may have gathered. Having said that some of there later on material can be weird or boring.

Hard to beat a KC album I think, Poseidon is great as is Lizard and In the Court of.
