Another well produced album from Benson as usual from his vast album catalogue. Some famous artists accompany him, Patti Austin, Roberta Flack,Dave Grusin, Michael Sembello, James Taylor, Cecil and Linda Womack, but having said that even though the songs are strong it is not one of his better albums. Possibly too much synth and drum machines, typical of the 80's, but still relaxing and listenable. Side 1 Beyind the Sea is a stand out, a big band Jazz number, with George crooning very well.

Foreigner one of the world's best-selling bands of all time with worldwide sales of more than 80 million records, including 37.5 million records in the US. Their 4th album called 4 is top dog, but I think the 1st one is extremely good. The first 6 albums all made Platinum and were in the top 20 album charts.
They are a British–American rock band, originally formed in New York City in 1976 by veteran English musician and ex–Spooky Tooth member Mick Jones, and fellow Briton and ex–King Crimson member Ian McDonald along with American vocalist Lou Gramm. Mick Jones has been with them since the start.

I think part of Foreigner's success has been due to having very good song material that appeals to all, its unusual for a HM outfit to have such a wide appeal, also whatever the line up over the years they have always been extremely tight musically and accomplished musicians.
Yup... good tunes is good tunes...
