The one I have is pretty old, before the lead free fiasco (ROHS) came out.
If this makes enough difference I can't say yet but will order a new ROHS version from Farnell to be sure

Dont know about that but three of us here had our 7520 modded by Tirna at the same time: so its fair to say we have the same Dac chip.
We all found a similar improvement too.
Dont know how relevent that actually is, but when I saw yours (and other) comments on the 2132 being "muddy" in comparison to the 4562 I just wondered how anyone could say that - I've found the improvement over the 4562 to be obvious.
Something in this Dac chip version schenanigans maybe? :confused:

I've just fitted the OPA2132 in the separate headphone amp and tried the Sabre dac, either this op-amp is dodgy or I just don't like it:mental:
I'll carry on using the LM4562 until a new 2132 arrives

Just chucked in 2132 opamp in, bass actually has more than 1 tone like with the 4562, seems more balanced, will report back once i listen more :)
Well bass isn't as boomy, its a bit brighter but still a bit shouty in the upper mids with busy music
I'll leave in to give a good run in
