Very sought after and worth over a million pounds each. this really does represent a bargain. With a lick of Hammerite and a touch with a wire brush you could double your outlay. They may look and sound like shite but don't be fooled!

I don't know how good the Rogers speakers are ,but hell ,I would not like to p*** my money away on anything like that
The pricing seems optimistic for home built repros.

How cool is that ?? :eyebrows:
It's like something out of 2001
Rogers speakers in my view were very good, don't think I have ever heard a bad one.
These were a bargain, early models with the better quality cabinets, full LS3/6 crossovers:

Hi Guys
As a little xmas present to myself as one came up local for a price i could not miss i had to wait 2 days to get it but here goes
The Purchase Of:
Sony La Scala System Direct link SA1
Amplifier
Tuner
CD Player
Cassette Deck
Remote
This also included another pair of the Sony Active Electrostatics that come with this system they are also different to my other Sony Electrostatic but equally as heavy.
The rack was included too took up the whole back seat of my Matiz
was collect around 9.15 this morning the early bird and all that...
PS sorry not an eBay find - nor gumtree
You'll have to change your signature Dan to include a fourth system. :)
I see you're still using the Technics SB-30 speakers. Those nice little drivers are crying out for bigger boxes. It's worth a try.
As for dantheman91 - Its a wonder you can shut the front door , what with all that stuff in the house :eyebrows:[/QUOTE]
With great difficulty Anto....:eyebrows:
Could get 4 or 5 going without too much trouble. Got 3 wired up at moment. Its all stuff i will likely keep, but if a good offer came my way some could go i guess. Surprising how it can build up.
That's it Dan, you tell her

Not sure what the difference is, but I had a pair of LS6. They didn't stay long!
I have LS7's as well, not my absolute favourite speaker, but still not a bad one. Prefer my Rogers LS3/6's.
There's a record shop in Leeds, in the basement they have some Rogers up on wall brackets with an original Naim Nait. Sounds really good. Not sure what the model is, two way with an 8 inch driver. Can't recall hearing any other of their speakers ever.
Whopping great Vintage Rotel RA-1412 integrated amp. A very hefty beast at £97 bids so far. Could be a bargain.

Look at his other items as well !! , Eyeballs raised to the sky.
He's selling an EMT turntable as well. Not cheap obviously.
I was given a pair of LS4as, but they didn't inspire me.
Some speakers 'work' for me, others don't.
A pair of original Wharefdale Diamonds I used for years in my University Lab.
really connected me with the music.
A pair of 'LS3/5a type' speakers from Stirling Broadcast ( bought from an AOS Member ) really didn't
connect.
As I have said before, each to his own...
This looks a cheap system

Trigon se amp, check out the other items, some bargains there..
I have bought stuff from them ,great to deal with. The Bow Wazoo amp great price.
They're not technically bargains yet, just low start prices ;)
But one or two might finish low, I've no doubt all the most wanted ones will go for close to shop price.
I'm watching a few items but don't think any will be cheap enough to bother about
Nice looking TD160B Mk.II with upgraded Mission 774 arm + AT95E cartridge. £495, collect from Invergordon.
