It has a sweep second flyback hand, and the 262khz technology makes the sub dial second counter have a double tick movement, so theoretically breaking down each second counted into 2 movements.
Why do I want to sell it?
The wife hates it and won’t be seen out with me if I wear it!

Yup quite similar in style. The gruen has fancy legs too. There are a couple of connections with Rolex and Gruen. Although an American Co and were at one time americas biggest, most of their movements were Swiss or germanQuote:

I know what you mean about the price tag Grant...The Ingersoll face is too busy for me...I like Roy's idea about the no date version Submariner...I've had a couple of Rolex's Subs in my hand. There is just something about them..a superior finish watch, built like a tank, but as you say, are they worth that sort of Money. I had it in my mind that the Sub date was quite a bit more expensive than the Explorer 11, seems there is only £300 difference.

I'd actually negotiated a trade in with Watchfinder for a 6 year old no date with box & papers, they had the sub up for £7950 & offered me £2000 for one of my Panerais. Now I have to wait a year but get to keep the Panerai.Quote:
