I live in Essex, and the price of beer is similar to what you pay for yours.
It is only in London where the prices are silly; but prices are going up everywhere. No wonder people are buying beer in supermarkets and drinking at home.
Had an amazing cask beer the other day in some pub, can't remember what's its called, sorry, I really enjoyed it though.
