When Turner tracks the phone number Joubert calls, he calls the phone company office and asks for a "CNA," which stands for Customer Name and Address. This service is only available to phone company employees, which is why Turner has to pretend to be one.

When Joe is in the sporting goods store and about to kidnap Kathy, he's peering out from a rack of parkas. The hangers are alternated in/out/in. Any fan of Dragnet (1951) knows this is a method of anti-theft; it prevents someone from grabbing several parkas at once and making off with them.

I watched 'The Cassandra Crossing' last year, recalled it from my youth as being terrible but thought I'd give it another chance. It's terrible.

Yes its terrible, but still an enjoyable load of tosh that is worth watching - if only for the sexy Ann Turkel (who was Harris's girlfriend at the time).

The scene of Adam listening to "Over the Rainbow" on his portable headphones was John Woo's idea and not part of the original script. Paramount Pictures refused to finance the extra scene and John Woo had to use his own money to make that happen. He was later paid back as the film turned out to be profitable. (A similar scene can be seen in Woo's Hard Boiled (1992))
