think i mentioned it before but bronson was a private and suspicious man. he didn't like saying 2 words where a look would do. him, his wife jill ireland and winner dined every night together while jack palance ate alone. Bronson thought Palance was the devil and refused to sit or talk to him.
oddly near the end of the shoot he sat down at his table and later came back to winner and said jack is a really nice man.
both interestingly were hard men, both had been in the war etc and were whats known as tough as nails types.
