One of my Dads favorite films Grant :)
It's very high up on my list too. You can sum up pretty much the whole of mankind from the people's behaviour.
Now something lighter. Throw momma from the train 1987

In 1898 John Clements is an army officer who resigns the day before his regiment is due to be sent to the Sudan to fight Islamic extremists. Stung by accusations of cowardice he resolves to make amends.
Classic film I've not seen in years. Set in the days when there was no problem that couldn't be solved by a few rounds of volley fire followed up with a bayonet charge. There have been a few remakes since but they are all rubbish especially the most recent one that couldn't even get the uniforms right.
The Lady Vanishes 1979 stars Elliott Gould as Robert, Cybill Shepherd as Amanda (Iris), Angela Lansbury as Miss Froy, Herbert Lom, and Arthur Lowe and Ian Carmichael as Charters and Caldicot.
Not as good as original but we do get Cybill.

Wheeler Dealers brand new episode - 1976 Ford Capri.
Mike was wrong when he said towards the end of the programme that they'd never done a Capri before
https://www.imcdb.org/v086647.html
They're collectible now. Bought one at auction once I about 1992 or 3; the 3 litre version, I think it cost me 80 quid. Had a hell of a time selling it and never touched another one.
Would be worth a load now that they are collectible. And they look so much cooler than modern cars it's not funny.
Back in the early eighties, on my commute to work on my Suzuki GSX 750, my supervisor pulled up beside me at the lights in his 3 litre S Capri. When the lights changed he went for it, but I made it look like he was going backwards. He gave me so much shit about dangerous riding, then sulked all day.
Capris are now a valuable classic, whereas my Suzuki isn't. Don't have to be quick to be cool.
I had a very tidy GSX-750ES, didn't rate the performance that much though. The following GSX-600F blew it away and my tiny Honda CB-1 400 could leave either for acceleration. Funny things bikes :).
Mine was a GSX 750 ET, which was even slower, although it seemed fast enough after my X7. And had at the time about 3 second advantage over the Capri going to 60. My mate's GSX was the 1100 version which was a brute in its day.

'Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club' on MTV
What a rip-off this is. I thought it was going to be about Lindsay doing stuff but she's not even in it. Just a big advert for her beach bar. Was looking forward to this anorl :(

With his mate, the silver bell end head.
The old black and white ones were better except they didn't have Erin Gray.
I used to love the ridiculous cliff hangers. There's one where Buddy is trapped in a room by Killer Kane. He rushes to the window to escape and Kane shoots him and he drops dead on the floor. At the start of the next episode they replay the same sequence except this time he rushes to the window, jumps out and escapes. I suppose the scam worked better when there was a week between episodes.
probably the best British gangster film, Get Carter (1971) stars Michael Caine... top soundtrack too.
