Perhaps his most accessible recording? I hate the categorisatisation of IDM, but there is real depth and movement to this piece of electronica, and his style is distinctive and inimatable. I love the swirling, growling synth bass - really gets the room energised.

Great stuff if you are partial to the electronic genre.

Great album, Chris (as are all JM albums). However, how do you find the recording quality/tonal balance of it on your system? It can sound rather ‘warm’, thick sounding and bass-heavy on some systems :)

It is a warm sounding album.
The bass is full, but thankfully not treacly.
Only having tiny drive units that can't do bass helps (You wouldn't believe how much low end you can get from a 4" driver) :smoking:
